Melbergs is located in downtown Moorhead, straight north of Herbergers parking ramp,and just one block east of the Heritage-Hjemkomst Center The Heritage-Hjemkomst center is the home of the Viking Ship, the Stav Church and Clay County Historical Society Museum. We encourage you to visit them. While you are in town we highly recommend a meal at Sarellos Restaurant and Wine Bar, a remarkable and unique dining experience. They are located right next door.Driving from I-94 or I-29, you can follow the brown informational highway signs to the Heritage Hjemkomst Center in Moorhead to reach our area of downtown. We are just a block or two from the Red River, and hence, only 6 or 8 blocks from Broadway in downtown Fargo. From Interstate 94Exit at Exit #1 in Moorhead N. Highway 75 or 8th Street. Turn left off the ramp, following 8th Street for 2 miles until you reach Center Avenue. Turn left onto Center Avenue westbound. Go one block and turn left onto Center Mall Avenue. Follow this street behind the Moorhead Center Mall for about three blocks. On your right, watch for a small sign Center Mall North, with Melbergs Christian Bookstore listed on the sign. Turn right into Melbergs parking lot when you reach the sign. From I-29On I-29, just south of West Acres shopping center, take the Exit to I-94 Eastbound toward Minneapolis. After three miles the interstate crosses the Red River into Minnesota. Take the first exit Exit #1, and follow the directions above.
